IPL Hair Removal Treatment

Devil Beauty use the very latest Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to provide fast

non-invasive hair removal for most skin types and hair colours.

The IPL machine

can treat most areas of the body in both women and men, including the face.

It treats a much larger area of skin per light pulse than laser hair treatment

which means treatment can be faster and cheaper.

In the vast majority of cases a series of treatments

will permanently reduce the unwanted hair

from the target area. Our methods are proven and safe.

All hair removal is carried out by highly trained beautician who are committed

to providing you with the very highest levels of service.

You could not be in better hands. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.

How it works-

IPL (intense pulse light) works best at removing hair when it is in the active growth phase.

But not all the hair in the treatment area will be in this phase at any given time.

So Devil Beauty spread our IPL treatments out over a period of time.

This is to make sure that hair which is not treated in one session is affected in the next.

The way hair grows is slightly different for everyone

Devil Beauty tailor our treatment to suit you.

Our IPL machine has a unique Dual Phase Pulse which is designed to

provide more efficient destruction of hair follicles than a standard IPL.

It removes hair by sending out high-energy light pulses.

Your initial consultation-

If you decide you want to find out more

the next step is to come in Devil Beauty for a Free Consultation

This is your opportunity to meet our highly trained beautician ask them any questions

you might have and discuss what you want to achieve from your hair removal treatments.

Devil Beauty will determine your skin type and the kind of hair you have and make sure

the IPL technique is right for you.

Then we will create a treatment programme tailored specifically to your needs.

A -patch test- will also be performed.

This is to determine how sensitive your skin is to the treatment and

also to establish the right IPL energy settings.

You will also be advised not to expose the target area to the sun or use sun beds

for at least four weeks before your treatment.

At this consultation we’ll check some basic details and explain a few simple requirements.

If you decide to go ahead with the treatment

Devil Beauty will arrange an appointment for you at a suitable time.

If at any stage you have any questions

we’ll do our best to answer and help in any way we can.

Your treatment programme-

The hair removal procedure itself is very straightforward.

You’ll lie on a facial bed and make yourself comfortable.

As a safety measure, you’ll be asked to wear some eye protection.

Devil Beauty beautician runs the IPL machine

a small handheld unit, slowly over the specified area.

You might feel a slight burning and tingling sensation.

Sometimes the skin swells or reddens slightly

depending on which part of your body is being treated.

Treatment times vary depending on the person and the area being treated.

It can be as brief as ten minutes, depending on what treatment you’re having.

Will I need more than one treatment session?

Commonly, six to eight treatment sessions are needed to provide a permanent reduction

of hair growth. This is because at any given time some of the follicles in the treatment area

won’t be in the growth phase.

We spread our treatments out to make sure that hair that isn’t treated in one session

is affected in the next.

Facial hair tends to be more stubborn and may need ten to twelve treatment sessions

or occasionally more in very resistant cases.

The gap between sessions is usually 4 weeks for facial areas and 6 weeks for body areas.

The number of hair removal sessions depends on various factors

including where the hair is,how thick it is and also your particular skin type and hair colour.

For the best results we recommend that you complete the full series of treatment sessions.

Our beautician can answer all your questions and offer support.

If at any time you want to discuss any part of the hair removal programme

please give us a call

After the procedure-

For the first few days after your treatment

you should apply aloe vera gel to soothe the affected area.

Also, a sun-cream of at least SPF30 should be applied to exposed treated areas every day

for at least four weeks, regardless of the weather.

You shouldn’t expose the treated area to the sun or use sun beds for

at least four weeks before and after treatment.

Are there any risks?

There may be some redness and swelling after the treatment

but this usually only lasts one or two days.

Sometimes there can be an increase or loss of pigmentation (colouring) in the skin.

In a very small number of cases the skin’s texture may change slightly.

IPL very rarely causes scarring.

Payment-

Prices vary depending on the area to be treated.

  2. Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Many thanks! ipl for skin

  3. The paste sticks to the hairs rather to the skin, which makes the removal of the paste and hair more bearable. It is more comfortable also because the paste is cooler to use than hot wax as it is cooled only to room temperature. As only natural ingredients are used in the paste, it is better for the health of the skin than waxing. 除毛
